Will there be dedicated bike valet where I can securely leave my bike at IN Light IN?

Yes! IN Light IN will be offering a FREE bike valet service at Rowland Design located at 702 N Capitol Ave.  Due to the large crowds expected along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and downtown canal we strongly encourage bicyclists to take advantage of this free bike valet service and explore the canal and Cultural Trail art installations by foot.  This free bike valet will be staffed by IndyCog on August 26 and August 27 from 8:30pm-1:00am.

Is this a rain or shine event?

Yes. In the case of weather-related changes on the nights of the festival real time updates will be posted by Central Indiana Community Foundation on Facebook or Twitter. Extreme weather may delay some events or require projects to be altered.

Can I bring my dog to the Light Festival?

While the downtown canal is a fantastic place to walk with your dog there will be large crowds and lots of excitement at IN Light IN that may make some dogs anxious.  For the two nights of the festival we recommend that your dog enjoy the comforts of their own home.
